Intrastat is the system used for collecting statistics on the trade of goods between EU member states. The requirements are similar across all EU Countries. It enables countries to monitor intra-community supplies and trade by recording dispatches and arrivals for goods across EU member countries
- the supply of services is excluded from Intrastat
- you must not include the supply of services
- only movements which represent physical trade in goods are covered by Intrastat, although there are some movements that are excluded.
Each country has their own thresholds for filing intrastat and differs for both arrivals and dispatches and also whether you need to submit a simplified version or a full version.
